Fleshbeckcrew
Instituted in 1999, in Rio de Janeiro, Fleshbeckcrew is a group created by former colleagues of an industrial design course who shared a passion for street art. Precise lines and vibrant colors characterize the work of the group that became a trademark of graffiti in Rio, with tags and paintings scattered all over the city. Characters influenced by Eastern art mingle with complex typographical studies which, despite being often indecipherable, have a strong visual appeal. It is from this cauldron of references that such a vigorous and contemporary work in constant exchange with the global culture arises.
