Olaf Hajek
Born in northern Germany, Olaf Hajek was raised and educated in Holland. His works illustrate the influence of ancient Native Art in experiments with textures, in the absence of realism and in the proportion of the elements. Flowers of various species are recurrent in his paintings, as well as trees, animals and insects. Blending with that, human figures of rare, complex and intriguing beauty fulfill this fantastic universe created by the artist.
