Trampo
Trampo is one of the pioneers of graffiti in Brazil, and has been one of the most active artists in this area. Mainly influenced by the Brazilian culture, from the metropolis to the native Indian tribes, Tampo’s works show a singular visual poetry, sometimes symbolic and experimental, at other times more metaphorical, but always appropriate to the environment in which they are inserted.
Well known for his social work, Trampo became a reference of urban art in Porto Alegre, where he can be seen working as a volunteer in workshops for children in poor communities as well as teaching in Universities. His movement through different art medium is evident in his work and in the multiplicity of his art application. Taking art to where people are is his main objective, either painting in the streets or taking part in special projects.
