Viti
Artist Victor Grosman has been developing over the years a copyright work that captivates for its genuineness and visual repertoire. Currently based in Florianopolis, a quick glance at Viti’s work is enough to realize how much his work is influenced by that surrounding environment. Myths and characters from the island folklore, as mermaids, pirates and enchanted animals, are recurrent in his work. His street paintings contrast with the traditional urban setting, and find room in the house of fishermen, boats and wooden sheds. Based on pop art and naïf references, Viti offers a contemporary approach of the local imaginary of the city he has chosen to live.
